Jacob Marley is, indeed, quite dead. But his story doesn’t end there. In a twist of fate, he’s given 24 hours to help his old business partner, Ebenezer Scrooge, discover the true meaning of kindness and generosity. If he fails, Marley will be bound forever by the chains he forged through a lifetime of greed and neglect. With the help of a spirited and mischievous guide, Marley sets off on a whirlwind journey through memories, mischief, and maybe even a few miracles. It’s a tale of redemption, friendship, and the magic of second chances.
Presented as Readers Theatre, this production is family friendly, however it is best suited for an audience age of 7 and up. There are moments of intensity that may be unsettling to sensitive and/or smaller children. No language or sensual situations.
